The South African Game Fair will be the country's premier exhibition of country pursuits. Held in the picturesque and popular trout fishing town of Dullstroom annually, proceeds going to the Dullstroom Bird of Prey Centre which rehabilitates injured raptors. It will take place on the weekend of Saturday the 31st of July, the middle of winter usually guaranteeing crisp clear, dry days. The site will be the well known Dullstroom Bird of Prey Centre, just off the main road, on the left as you enter the village from Belfast. Visitors will have access to the Raptor Centre, flying displays and en site flycasting, flytying and rod building demonstrations and instruction. In a neighboring field there will various field dog displays, horse riding and a little further away, clay pigeon shooting, black powder, English long bow and bowhunting demos, try outs and competitions.

Exhibitors that are attending are deemed to be the very best in their field of expertise:

• Mark Holder and Mark Bett of the Dullstroom Bird of Prey Centre, flying displays and falconry show.

• Jonathan Boulton of Mavungana Flyfishing, talks on fishing in Argentina, Alaska, the Amazon etc.
• Michel Casenova of SPE Archery, bowhunting demos and gear retail.
• Arno Laubscher of Sci Fly, flytying demos and sale of fly packs.
• Andy Soutar, Classic Arms in Witbank, collectable black powder rifles and shot gun demos and try outs, shooting accessories for sale.
• Kevin and Heather Harvey of the Heavin Forge, bespoke knife makers, demo and retail
• Beer tent, restaurant, kids play area, horse riding

Entrance
R95 adults, R55 children under 16, children under 3 no charge, family and group discounts at the gate.

Entrance includes
2 Raptor flying displays, sheep dog and pointer displays, fly tying, flycasting, rod building, trout cookery, knife making, black powder weapon, long bow and compound bow demos, free tuition and tryouts.
